TMS Depression Treatment

Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a cutting-edge alternative to traditional treatment options. The treatment targets the prefrontal cortex of the brain using magnetic stimulation. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for mood regulation, and stimulation of this area can improve MDD symptoms.

The underactive regions of the brain that are targeted during TMS sessions are revitalized. This results in better neural function and brain chemistry. Patients can expect to receive treatment for roughly seven weeks. Throughout the course of the treatment, you will begin to see results.
