Transcranial magnetic stimulation is an FDA-approved treatment for psychiatric conditions. Optum insurance covers TMS therapy for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and anxiety. Coverage for TMS has expanded greatly since 2013, when the affordable care act (ACA) expanded mental health benefits. Since then, many insurance companies have added coverage, giving patients more access to important services like TMS. We work with a number of insurance providers to help our patients obtain affordable treatment. We also offer free consultation appointments to every new patient.
