A typical TMS session lasts less than an hour and after it is completed you can return to work, school, or other activities. 

Transcranial magnetic stimulation is administered through a magnetic coil that sends pulses to specific areas of the brain, improving cognitive function. These pulses are not painful and are able to reach brain regions that are responsible for mood regulation, brain chemistry, and more. You remain awake during the session, meaning there is no anesthesia involved and no pesky side effects due to medications. As a matter of fact, our treatment is completely drug-free, meaning you can ditch the antidepressant medications or anxiety medications that are not effective for you.
