Learn more about anxiety disorders

Anxiety is a condition that leads to a feeling of being overwhelmed, afraid, or panicked. Common signs of anxiety may be that you feel anxious, have panic attacks, overthink, and more. The condition can also present itself in a physical sense of tightened muscles, difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, and nausea.

Anxiety comes in many different forms and can present itself differently in every person who experiences it. Until recently, there have not been many options to treat anxiety disorders in such a holistic manner. For many patients who have sought treatment for generalized anxiety disorder, traditional treatment options are not effective enough. These traditional treatments may include talk therapy, support groups, psychotherapy and medications.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a great alternative for people with anxiety disorders who have been unresponsive or opposed to taking anxiety medication. Patients may begin to experience reduced anxiety after just a few weeks of treatment. Day to day, the treatment shouldn’t cause major side effects that will impact your typical routine.
